Bring your apples and your family to a community apple pressing day, uniting Coldridge, West & East Leigh, North Tawton and surrounding villages. Please note the apple pressing is for households, not businesses or charities. There are 30-minute slots to ensure fair use. We hire our apple press and equipment from Orchards Live and recommend this local charity.
Autumnal activities, including cake, drinks, soup and bread by donation.
We’ll be raising money for Okehampton Food Bank and Care 4 Calais
Everyone welcome, even if you don’t have apples to press or miss a slot.
We’re looking for volunteers to help with the pressing too (it’s fun).
Due to technical (?) problems the links for booking aren’t working. Be in touch if you would like a slot to book.
You can also bottle and pasteurise your juice if you want. Some people take it away in flagons for cider making.
How to get here – not difficult but worth preparing
Suggested minimum £5 donation for a slot. Contributions of cake and nice loaves welcome.

Volunteer Apple Picking Day
Come and pick apples on Friday 11th and Saturday 12th October ready for juicing at the Viveka Gardens Orchard Day the next day.
Fresh air, lovely vegan lunch, and apple cake, nice time, take lovely eaters, including russets, home with you.
Probably good to bring wellies for uneven ground, layers of clothing to put on and off as you work then take a break and there is shelter in case of showers. Please complete this form to join
