Transitions Day Retreat

A day retreat for women who find themselves at an inbetween time

It could be some kind of loss (work, relationship, bereavement or health, for instance) or simply feeling stuck and wanting to make a change. You’ve had to let go of something, or someone, but you’re not quite ready to move on. A limbo place needs sitting with.

Make space for your soul to rest and maybe catch a glimmer of what next with:

  • gently embodying restorative yoga
  • guided journalling for deeper diving
  • circle to say what’s on your heart out loud
  • yoga nidra for intuitive insight
  • meditation walk on the land here for grounding

Plus delicious vegan soulfood to nourish, and a warm, welcoming space.

Living in tune with the rhythm of nature and internal seasons is a key value at Viveka Gardens. It can be hard in the full life of summer to acknowledge emptiness. We sit with the contradiction.

Feedback from previous day retreat participants at Viveka Gardens

Thank you Fiona for this amazing retreat. It was just so right for me and I came away with a sense of clarity, peace and connectivity. I smiled for the whole 40 minute journey home. It was, as another participant mentioned, a deeply spiritual experience but also incredibly grounding. Thank you for holding a safe space for us, your compassion, wisdom and non-judgemental acceptance that filled that room. I really felt secure and comfortable sharing my story and emotions. The food was fantastic too! Real food for the soul, I loved the whole day and will definitely be back. L, South Molton

What a wonderful day. Fiona invites you to be where you are and to find what you need. I gained insights from the retreat day as well as finding a deeper peace about my life. A beautiful mix of yoga practice, solo space, communal engagement, gentle teaching, nourishing food, nature walks to name some of the gifts. An experienced retreat leader and coach – highly recommended.”

My thanks for a beautiful experience and a day to reflect on with deep realisations that will continue to unfold. I benefited from time out to think, journal, be really listened to, coddled and cosseted, wholly fed and nurtured in the peace of Viveka Gardens. I loved the warmth and peace, the unhurried rhythm of time, the enveloping restorative yoga, the wonderful wholesomeness of hospitality and Fiona’s loving and liberating guidance. As a result of the day I want to live each day more appreciatively, with my body, in creation, with wisdom and in faith. My main takeaway is about growing in grace and the freedom to be me. M, North Tawton

The day retreat resonated with me on so many levels.  For me it was a deeply spiritual experience and just what I needed. All week I have felt blessed and calm. I know that because of this day, I am better equipped for what lies ahead. I have never journalled before and have since reflected on my notes and added to my book. I have found this vey helpful and can see me continuing this.
The yoga poses have relaxed parts of my body and mind. The time in nature was good focus for me. It was  great to amble alone. Thank you for teaching me to focus on my breathing, I am using this to help me deal with challenging situations, and to sleep! T, Bow Transitions Day Retreat
