A warm welcome to the Yoga and Vegan Yogi Weekend Retreat.

Looking to recharge in simple, cosy environment, close to nature? Want to develop your yoga practice? Keen for fresh food inspiration with and ethical and whole diet?

Enjoy the peace of rural mid-Devon and soak in the prana of nature. A chance to unwind and revive. We’ll be practising yoga, cooking, eating, practicing yoga nidra and meditating together. There will be time for rest and personal reflection too.

This retreat is for people with mixed levels of yoga experience and options will be given in the class. As ever, maturity in practice is about breath awareness and connection, and these will be facilitated whatever the fitness and mobility.

You’ll have a chance to deepen your understanding of yoga and take part in a cooking workshop on Saturday.

Vegan Yogi with Ayurveda cooking workshop: EAT FOR YOUR DOSHA

Are you looking to lighten up your diet and move more plant-based? Keen to try new flavours? Curious about protein from dhals and beans? Come and enjoy communal cooking and eat like a yogi!

In Ayurveda (the traditional Indian health system and a sister science to yoga) your dosha is your constitution type. Vata, pitta and kappha, are the Sanskrit names for the doshas. In preparation for the day search dosha quiz and find out your type.

We will chop and prepare a full meal, fresh chutneys, snacks and deserts, and enjoy the fruits of our labour around the table together. We’ll also co-coach our next steps regarding diet.

Fiona Law is a long time yogi and yoga teacher, and has cooked in Sivananda yoga centres an ashrams, as well as catering at Viveka Gardens.
