This is the classic route that most garden designers offer.
1 preparation of brief for a full design
We visit you for a consultation. We prepare a brief for a design based on this .
2 design
Commission to prepare the design based on the brief. Cost of design ranges from approximately £400 for a courtyard garden up to possibly £1000 or more for an 80ft garden, depending on the size of the site and the scope of the brief.
3 site survey
We survey the site and prepare a plan. It is useful if any plans showing services are available at this time (drains, water pipes and so on). The cost depends on size and complexity of the garden.
4 presentation of design
We prepare visual representations of the garden, including a plan, elevations and computer produced 3-d modelling as appropriate. In addition, a mood board and sample materials are presented.
5 tender to landscape contractors
We prepare a specification for the work and a setting out drawing, We can arrange three quotes or you can find your own.
6 project monitoring
We are present for setting out (the start of the build) and then on an hourly basis to an agreed ceiling.
7 planting
See option b.
Then we complete all tidying and toast your new space!
Initial and ongoing visits to the site are free within 5 miles of SW4; travel time and costs are charged beyond that.
